"Suggested Contacts" being synced?

Will "most contacted" and "suggested contacts" be synced...? Because that would not be cool....

From what I've seen, it just syncs your contacts as one list.

No, it does NOT sync the most and suggested contacts.

Yes, it DOES most certainly sync suggested contacts.. I don't know about Most contacted.

And it's ****ing annoying.

Suggested contacts doesn't get synced to your Contacts. I can confirm that as I have just done a look-up of a contact that I know I have in Suggested Contacts but have not moved to Contacts.

I synced my phone.

Then I when into the barcode application... hit Menu > Share > Share Contact

And lo and behold!!! Suggested Contacts!!! And they have shown up before in my sms contacts.. so they are syncing somewhere... maybe they aren't intended to.. but they def sync and show up in some apps. If they aren't always DISPLAYED in the contact list, your phone is still receiving and storing them somewhere.

btw... just to make sure I went to gmail and deleted all my suggested contacts.. resynced my phone... and reinacted my experiment with barcode scanner and the suggested contacts were now gone... they DEFINITELY sync and show up occasionally depending on how your contacts are accessed and by what application is accessing them.

Yes, that's true as well. It's stored somewhere, but I don't notice it because it's not in any apps that I use. Which barcode app are you using? Barcode Scanner?

I suspect this is more of a 3rd party app issue, since this problem does not come up consistently with all 3rd party apps. Try dropping the developer of the app an email and get some insight into the problem.

No. The app is accessing my phone, not my gmail account. So the real question is why are the contacts on my phone?

One time the Messaging application started fucking up and every sms I got was listed as being sent from random people in my Suggested Contacts list.... I understand glitches happen, but why are they even being synced to my phone?

(yes, barcode scanner)

And what do you mean "That's true as well" lol.. either my statement is true or yours is true, since they are in complete contradiction to one another.. though I have demonstrated mine to be true.. so that would make yours... Fail?

You're right -- Messaging does show names from my Suggested Contacts list. meh

No hard feeling taken. I've cleaned up a good part of my Suggested Contacts, so I guess that was why I didn't really notice.

And no, the opposite of true is false, not fail.
