Stuck on Boot Screen (Non-Rooted)

I have a non-rooted G1. I went to reboot my phone today after uninstalling some apps to free up room on my phone and now I can't get past the boot screen where it says android. I have tried a few times now to reinstall the cupcake, which it does successfully, but still won't let me past the boot screen.

Do I have any other option other than doing a system wipe?

The same thing happened to me and I ended up performing a wipe. I couldn't even boot into safe mode (home+menu).

If you do a wipe, be sure to immediately go to the my downloads section of the market and re-install all of apps.

Call T-mobile. if it under a yr they will replace it.

I ended up doing a wipe . It's OK, though. It's kind of like starting freshe with a new phone!!! lol...
