    Default Speed dial?

I'm sorry if this isn't the correct place for this please move the thread admins if possible please if it is in the wrong place.

My question is does the G1 have a speed dial set up or a way to setup speed dial or perhaps a voice command to dial someone. I see the voice dialer but I can't seem to make it call with any sort of accuracy. I just bought a Blueant V1 and would like to set it up.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

anycut works well. I used it and then arranged the icons into a folder.

So there's no speed dial it self with the phone? Just using the any cut? It's not that I mind going through the phone to make a call just trying to setup my V1 with the speed dial settings.

It doesn't do anything for me when I press the number I want to use. Just the normal dialer right?

    Thanks all for the replies

Pressing and holding the button doesn't do anything. But why do you need a speed dialer when you have a phone book and a voice dialer that work perfect.

It's because of the way you have to setup this bluetooth headpiece with voice commands like "Call voicemail" will call speed dial one which is their default for voicemail and "call home" will call speed dial two and "call office" will call 4 and then you get into some other features it's a neat bluetooth piece. There's a way to set it up whether your voice has the feature or not so I guess I'll just do it that way.

I have a Bluant V1 as well and know what you mean.

Currently there is some form of speed-dial in the phone. I know because when I tell the phone to speed dial a number, it dials some random number from my contacts list.

Don't know if this is coming from the sim card or the phone. Still trying to find a pattern to it.

Sadly, it's starting to look like us V1 users could be SOL.
