Spec of dust under screen!!!!....

I spotted a small line of dead pixels on my screen today and a little dead pixel near the middle of the screen. You can only see these when you switch the phone on and you get the black G1 screen, but still, it is doing my head in!

I will be going back to the T-Mobile store to get it replaced next Saturday (can't go any sooner because of work). The annoying thing is, I have set up all my contacts now...took ages! If I get a new G1, and connect the same Gmail account to it, it should get back all the contacts I added, right?

Yes the contacts are sync'd with the gmail account you activate the phone with. Just to make sure autosync the contacts one last time before you take your sim out and return the phone for an exchange... Hope this helps..

I just called T-mobile to order a replacement and a nice lady picked up and helped me, it was a pain less process, she said that she just placed a replacement order through... Man I hope I get it soon.
