Smudges.. the Achilles Heel of the unlock pattern.
So I was playing with my new G1, setting up my unlock pattern when I noticed that my unlocking pattern was smudged onto my screen. Clear enough for anyone who knows how to turn a phone to reflect light to read.

Hm, i wonder if the traditional unlock with a pin number method will be available, i dont mind memorizing a few numbers i think its easier.

they probably gonna make a screen protector that doesn't smudge. i have one for my iphone and it works really well. having to wipe your display all the time sucks.

I don't think it would be an issue. Every time I touch my screen I have to wipe it on my shirt to get those smudges off.....OCD FTW!!

Lol! I'm still waiting for the "eye recognition" software to be placed on the Android Market. I used the pattern lock. I know it smudges...but it only takes a second to wipe the dumb pattern off! Problem sovled! lol!
