Sense UI on Magic

Can anyone tell me how well Sense UI runs on HTC Magic 192mb RAM version?

Sense UI is really appealing but being in the UK, I can only get my hands on a 192mb version of the Magic so I was wondering how well it runs Sense UI. Is it laggy or does it run well? Also, would I notice much difference between the different versions (in terms of apps)?

You know the Hero will be out in the UK within 10-14 days, right?

Yeah. The thing is that the only thing that attracts me more to the Hero is Sense.

If I can get that running decently, and still enjoy all the apps with less RAM then I would prefer to stick with the Magic because a) it's likely to be cheaper and b) it's look great.

I'm still toying with the Hero, and if the RAM upgrade would really be worth it then I may go for that instead.

You also get a 5mp camera instead of the 3.2mp if that matters at all, and the headphone jack separate from the usb. I'm guessing form the feed back on Xda about running Hero on the low mem phones the added ram make a big difference, also the phone looks way better IMO.

The camera and jack, while nice aren't really a big factor to me, especially if it ups the price.

I'll take a look on Xda and see what is said.
