SD card problems/ Question

ok so i was messing around with the camera and stuff today, sent a couple pictures and looking at the slide show and stuff. I went back to the camera from the picture screen and it said insert a SD card to take a picture. I was a bit confused so i unmounted and ejected the card then put it back in and went to look at my pictures but i did not show any of the ones that i took from my camera. I turned it off and then back on and it was still doing the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem and/ or know how to fix it?

I had that problem. I realized that the sd cover on the phone surrounding the card has to be clicked in all the way around.

yeah i tried that but my stuff still isn't showing up, it was working earlier but now it isn't

the sd card slot cover disables the sd card.

It may take a hand full of times of pulling out the cover in and out to get it to be re recognized again.

Play some music or make sure your in the photo program for you to realize that the card is re-recognized.

The tmobile techs have no idea about the card slot dis abling the sd card.

i found this out the dumb/hard way.

Its the cover that disables the sd card slot, not taking the card out.

THats what i meant, when i referred to the cover disableing the slot and the card.

i'm not sure about this, because the sd card that came with my phone doesn't work either, but when i insert the card before closing the slot it recognizes the amount of available data.

Mine works with the cover open... it will probably always be open down the road when I break it off by accident, it is kinda flimsy looking. We'll see in 6 months.

But it definitely works open for me...
