    To be honest.

    The behold sucks.

Not real web browsing, NO WIFI, seriously what.
Could not add like other apps or something. Java locked.

Could not use as a modem for computer that sucks.

    You get the point!

I exchanged it for a G1. Love it so far

In my opinion the touch screen as a whole fails. While using it I told my friend if it had some calibration feature and he said he'd done it twice, the latter which he used a thin piece of an eraser! I coulnt type on it , I couldn't scroll through web pages without clicking on something it took me like 5 mins to lie and say "cool phone" .....I just thought it was garbage. No WiFi ...I would have Returned it as well

It did have a nice flash

nah dude i totally agree. I wouldnt have got this for my wife if she wanted anything more than to be able to text and talk. When i gave it to her she was just glad that it was pink and that it looks pretty damn sexy (for a phone). The only thing i really enjoyed using was the keyboard. It felt pretty responsive because i was using it as if it were a real keyboard and applying a little pressure. Lol after using that camera it made me realize that the G1 allows you nearly 0 control over camera settings. I originally wanted to get her the MOtorola Zine or whatever its called because i read that the camera on that phone is one of the best camera phones on the market

Yeah? Well if I wanted control over camera settings I'd use a camera and not a phone
(And I do carry my camera in addition to my phone when I intend to take pictures.)

hell yeah! thats the only way to do it. I only use the phone camera if i really need to. Other than so called "emergencies" and SHopsavvy i dont even bother with 'em. I guess what i was referring to was that the G1 doesnt allow you to do anything other than press the shutter release button. On the Sammy you can at least control brightness and zoom (not that digi zoom is worth a damn). I mean its better than just being able to press the release button was all i was trying to say. For such a sophisticated piece of machinery we own you'd think we'd have a few more things to mess with out of the box. Oh well.

I know I'm digging up ths subject from the grave....I always see this camera subject pop up in several threads....yes if you want to take a nice picture w/ zoom in a pitch black room then you my f friend need a real camera .....but I for one rarely carry my camera around ...there are so many instances where your caught off gaurd and there is some funny sign, person, car, etc etc where it comes in handy ....I've only tried the camera feature twice....the 1st pic came out awesome......the second one not so great....

I just re read my entire post had no actual subject/point to it

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm satisfied with my camera ....hahaha wow that whole paragraph was pointless

Hm... word. The phone's good for "emergency" pictures. The only thing is, zoom/focus is a mechanical process and the G1 has a minimal autofocus feature (which is pretty impressive for a phone anyway). I don't think it would be possible to have extensive zoom on this device lol.

Brightness might be a software feature, as it depends on how optical data are written to disk. However, it is entirely possible that the process is hidden behind a hardware black box. I have not checked out the SDK yet, so I don't know how this works...

It would be nice to be able to store images in a lossless format, but I guess it would not matter for a phone anyway.
