you need to find the DREAIMG.NBH file, put it on you sd card, then power the phone up.
I haven't done any app. updates nor have I had water damage done recently, and I just took my phone out, found it turned off, tried turning it back on, didn't work, so I took the battery off and placed it back in only to find myself on that lined red, green, blue, and white screen
the one that says:
(red line)
DREA100 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.95.0000
CPLD-4
RADIO-2.22.23.02
Sep 2 2000
(green line)
Serial0
any ideas on how to fix this? :/

here it is http://db.tt/iHq8Do put it on the main part of your sd. put the sd back in the phone, boot the phone, then let the phone update to it. after, you are going to want to upgrade to a more recent version of android.
ah, i miss my old g1 days...
simms already told you what to do (simms is the man. he helped me so much back in my day with the g1). but if you're ever curious, there's a world of modding opportunities for the g1 out there.
