    Default Question about G1 notifications...

I was reading a while ago, and someone was complaining that there wasnt a notification light that notifies you when u missed a call, text, have voicemail.

I wanted to know, does your phone have a notifying light? Because mine does, and was just curious if the older models(pre-ordered phones) were without this blinking light...

I have a preorder with a notification light.

Today an app came out to use this light if you miss a call.. it has always notified you if you receive a text.

I don't have a notification light for missed calls but it blinks for everything else: text messages, emails, rss feeds, etc. I got my phone the day it hit stores. I was thinking about downloading that app.

I also have a notification light, and saw that app, thats why I was wondering if everyone had it, because I DLed the app, but it was pretty useless being my phone did that prior to downloading it.

So you're saying that when someone calls you and you don't answer. Your LED blinks? And you don't have a missed text while this is happening?

Because mine and the majority of the people don't have this, which is why the app came out.

The light only blinks when you get a voicemail message only, I believe, not when you ONLY miss a call

yea, a stock phone without the app should not blink with just a missed call. if that caller leaves a voice mail, then it will blink to notify of the voice mail.

this app notifies you if they do not leave a voice mail....

i just got it, too. works great!

and i like how you can choose to have the icon notification when running or not.

a color choice would be pretty cool, too....
