Will the G1 Bluetooth work with the Toyota Prius hands-free feature?

I saw one blogpost saying it didn't work (http://mobile.washingtonpost.com/det...tech&p=1&all=1).

I'm very interested in the G1, but it needs to pair with our car.

I have the 2007 Prius with BT handsfree and it works fine for voice, but the address book transfer does not work. Perhaps with 1.5 it will, but I am not holding my breath for that. Sound quality overall is better than with my Motorola phones - not sure why - and I have fewer BT connectivity issues now.

You didn't say what year. It works fine in my 2005 Prius, but doesn't have the bluetooth profiles needed for transferring the address book. I believe that's still the case with 1.5.

I have a 2008 Mercury with Ford Sync. I had to try and sync 4 or 5 times until it finally paired. I think mine finally worked when I turned the discoverability off in the phone settings. Good luck.
