When this happens, is anything plugged into the USB port?
There is a post below with a problem similar to mine but no clear answer. Everytime I have the headphones in that came with my g1, the music player automatically goes on my screen every 10 seconds. if im on aim, youtube, browser, no matter what it pops up. now this morning i got sick of it so i deleted all the data off my s2 and factory reseted my g1, which i regret because it didnt fix the problem. does anyone know how i can i stop this music player from going on and off? the button on the headphones is not getting pushed in btw thanks.

yes, the headphones themselves. i do not have a 3 in 1 adaptor or anything like that only what came in the box
can anyone help me... please = / lol
The music plays or pauses when you push the button. Are you sure you aren't sitting and fidgeting on the button?
Oh, and this forum has an edit function; use it instead of double-posting ;p
There was someone who had this problem, turned out it was a short in the headphones that caused the phone to think the button was being pushed. Take it to a store and have them check with a new set of headphones.
im having the exact same problem and ive tried EVERYTHING
yeah i figured out that it causes library shuffle to turn on, is there any way to disable shuffle?
Happens to me from time to time so its defintely not isolated. We should see how many are having similar experiences and do something about it
