    Default Password Manager

Just got the G1 and found it does not have a way to store passwords like the Blackberry Curve. Does anyone know how to or when an app may be available?

As i understand it, biowallet wont be released untill they have implemented a way to charge for apps, expected sometime early next year. Untill then tough, i hope someone comes up with free version of a simple PW keeper. I cant remember any of my passwords to save my life

So if your device is ever lost or stolen it will have all your passwords saved on it! Great idea guys.

Actually, I signed up to be a beta tester for BioWallet. It's not that they are looking to charge just yet, it's that they are in Spain and can't get their hands on an actual G1. They have it tested out on the emulator, but don't want to release it until they can see and test it on the actual device. If anyone wants to send them a G1, they can get it rolled out sooner!

Yes, password managers typically require a password. I have one on my old phone, and it's very helpful. That way you only have to remember one password instead of dozens (plus passport numbers, frequent flier numbers, clothing sizes, etc.)

    I see.
Well I guess that's what's wrong with us as a species. We allow electronics to do everything for us. Instead of committing important data to memory (that nobody will really be able to access) we will store it on our computers/phones/other electronic devices.
