Where is the wallpaper directory within the OS? I want to examine the stock ones and see about adding my own there. I do not like setting wallpapers using the alternative method from your pictures. It certainly seems to resample and resave (recompress with further quality degradation) your images even if they are the correct size to begin with. That is why they always look worse.
If I can find out where they are, I can easily use the file manager app to copy an image from the sd card and paste it into that dir (hopefully).

Thanks for the tip. I am not finding squat unfortunately . I think only someone familiar with the SDK will be able to answer this one. Doh!
