Well i'd like to ask some things .

Im gonna get this phone but i got may questions :

1st : There is a T-Mobile G1 Version and a HTC Dream version ? 'cause i saw in phandroid, that there is a HTC G1 and a HTC Dream, and the Dream has different buttons and can get to 32GB of memory by an SDHC but the G1 only goes to 8GB :S

2nd : If i want to put some Custom ROM's i have to Root the phone right ? but for rooting the phone, the phone has to have ( sry if this is wrongly spelled, im from argentina lol ) a spescial firmware for rooting it ? there is some sorta firmware that doesnt let the phone to be rooted, or for all phones is just equal ?

How much data usage does a G1 use up as a minimum per month? I'm considering getting a G1, but I can't get an unlimited data plan. Is 700MB/month enough?

Need Some Help

If I upgrade two of my three lines at an authorized dealer,
does the primary account holder have to be there also or could I just go...., I'm authorized to make any changes to the plan and ask any questions when I call tmobile.. Dunno if that means anything?

And I'm buying the G1, do I have to get the data plan? yes I know just asking

And I plan to call tmobile when I walk out the door and cancel the data plans...., Will Tmobile Prorate the data plan for those couple of hours I had it?

And do I have to have the SIM cards to upgrade to phones, I may have one and the other one is in a different state....THese lines are not being used but ONE is active and the other line is SUSPENDED... will that make a difference? I could just call tmobile and activate it...?

OK here's a good one for everybody! I am running the Superhero V2 Rom on my unlocked,and jailbroke G1. Anybody know how to get the myFaves Application on that ROM? Any help is appreciated. I'm totally confused with this. I called T-Mobile and even explained everything to them and they can't do nothing about it if I have an unsupported OS. Thanks in advance to everybody!
