i had a nokia and now a sidekick slide and my girl has a dash and my card works in all so dont see why it would not work on the G1

its hard to tell going from every different phone on the market... sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't... just gotta try it really, don't think theres a chart anywhere that shows cross compatibility via memory cards...

my suggestion was only a guess

i have a question... in I have a sidekick 2008 right now. Could i use that same microSD card in my sidekick 08 for the G1?
A. Yes you can use your microSD card up to 8GB without having to reformat. so are you saying that people who bought there 16gb memory cards wasted there money for nothing? or maybe im just not understanding that answer right. also how is the battey life... how long can i use the phone before i have to recharge it? im talking about non stop use. i do have more questions but they cant come to mind right now... more questions to come

From what I've read in various other threads on the site I believe that the first shipment will not include the headphone adapter, but the second shipment of G1's will. The adapters in the android store are very reasonable in my opinion though.

Did you get the "Much Coolerer" from anything or did you just come up with that... all of the promotional material I've recieved on the G1 had terms just like that... one being "Smarterer" lol I'm guessing they're making fun of dumbphones, but who knows

Question. Screen does not auto Rotate when phone is turned sideways does it? I ask because I just finished the code to do that and hope I havent wasted my time . Ps working on the assumption it doesnt and there is no other app already in place to do it - I will put the app on the marketplace .... soon as I get the phone to double check its working.

I have read some articles that stated G1 downside was exactly screen not changing automatically when turned into landscape position. Having said that if you have heard of Gravity Ringer app where you set the angle of the device when phone itself will initiate command to phone to switch from Ringing mode into Silent Vibration mode. So, it is matter of time when 3rd party app will be written to take care of automation of screen once phone position is changed.

There is also a video (in one of the threads here in AC) that shows a video player of some sort that automatically changes orientation when the phone is flipped.
