I am in africa zambia. I have just managed to unlock the G1 phone and i have the "Setting up your T-Mobile G1" screen. but the problem is that i need to receive an sms from my network to enable GPRS meaning i cant login to google account. How can i skip the "Setting up your T-Mobile G1" so that i can enable my G1.

Well it's like this, until Google updates the G1 and allow "JAVA" to work... That "?" will remain.

Q: Why does my phone keep freezing when using SMS?
A: You have to keep your message count low, below 300 (below 100 is even better), because android does not handle large amounts of messages yet.

I would go to places like uTorrent.com and other torrent client sites and ask them if they are developing an android client or if they know of their java clients working on android yet.

If you have no idea what I am talking about - google yourself some "torrent" research ;-)

You have to take it out of your "download" folder and move it to your "notifications" folder.

If you need an app to move it the "Astro" app in the market will do the trick.
