I was wondering about the quality and functionality of Google Calendar on the G1. Is it as intuitive and easy to use as the web-based application? What are your thoughts on it?
These are the complete specs from HTC:
http://www.htc.com/www/product/g1/specification.html
T-mobile page if you are interested:

If you google "t-mobile g1 specification" you'll find some other ones probably, but those aren't official.

Hi everyone, I have a simple question:
Can you boot the G1 wihout SIM card at all? Can you activate connection to google account using wi-fi?
Thanks for any answer!
Nope. Need a sim.
if you could please let me know ... the aim service msn, gtalk, etc... preloaded onto the phone... does it use data to send and receive or does it use up ur txt msges? i remember the blackberry preloaded messengers used txt messeges instead of data...
i only have 400 txts per month i dont want to use them up on chat...
The calendar is very intuative - you can set it for month, week, day view - scroll through these views, times...etc. Find your day/time to add an event, press & hold to create a new event, set parameters - it's very thorough - quite a few reminder options, etc.. I was concerned about this feature because I used my calendar on my Dash for everything. I'm very happy with the G1 calendar set up.![]()
quick question...do i put my old sim card from my MDA in...or put the new one that came with the g1??
