As the title suggests..please use this thread to ask questions about the Hero and hopefully our friends in the UK will be kind enough to supply answers. Having this in one place will help to avoid repeat questions.

Q: Did it come with any syncing software to sync contacts with Outlook via USB?
A: Nope (G1ravs)

Q: Is the phone laggy at all with say 3 or 4 widgets?
A: I have currently running the twitter widget, the weather widget, messages widget, email widget, clock widget, loads of program shortcuts and it's fine only bit of lag i had was when i was writing a text message and i got a phone call, after the phone call i ended up with a blank text message and a frozen screen for about 2-4 seconds.. but was fine after that. Q: Can you report on the camera auto focus..is it slow like some reviews are claiming.
A: The auto focus seems fine to me, if you're holding the camera still enough it will focus in about 1-1.5 seconds, the quality is nice aswell! (G1ravs)

Q: What about Google contact integration? For instance, when I flashed a HERO rom to my G1 I could not select to only see my Google contacts with Phone Numbers for instance so people I emailed on Craigslist or Ebay just once showed up in my contact list.
A: noticed earlier you can choose which contacts to display (Google, Phone, Sim or all), but I guess you'd still have someone added to your contacts even if you e-mailed them just once.. which is annoying. (G1ravs)

Q: I'm not sure how long you have been off the charger but how's the battery life seem as compared to the G1?
A: Had the phone on for 4:41mins, from fully charged out of the box..they don't give you a percentage anymore just a 7/10 bars :P pretty good for the amount ive been using it (G1ravs)

Q: How does the "chin" feel? If you throw it in your pocket is it noticeable?
A: It is only a slight 'chin', the way it's made it looks, bigger than it actually is. Even when you're holiding it you can hardly tell its there. Feels fine in your pocket too (G1ravs)

Q: When you link the Hero to Facebook, does it automatically sync all your facebook friends or can you pick and choose which facebook friends you want on your hero?
A: It hasn't synced any of my facebook friends, it's synced the google ones, but then in turn synced my google friends with facebook for pictures, birthdays and status' (G1ravs)

Q: Does the virtual keyboard support multi-touch?
A: no, no it doesn't :/ (G1ravs)

Q: Does at the top of the phone is there 2 led's? and if not what is that dot on the top left of the phone?
A: They're two LED's, one is clear white and one is tinted green (G1ravs)

Q: Does it come with quick office? Can I open/edit word, excel and power point presentations?
A: yes, it does (G1ravs)

Q: Is there any navigation software installed.
A: Apart from google maps, no (G1ravs)

Q: Any email client where i can configure Pop3, Imap or company microsoft exchange server.
A: its completely intergrated and easy to use, i have my work email set up already (G1ravs)

Q: Can flash be disabled?
A: Yes it can (morris)

Q: You can close widgets and background things that you don't use such as email and whatnot right? But Is there a way to keep those things turned off even from a reboot?
A: Yes, as long as you save the 'scene', the phone will reboot with whatever scene setup you saved, including which widgets are added to the home screen. (Icklesheep)
