Your not going to see anything else till they update the system. Not
sure but I think it's around 12:00. Check tomorrow when you get up
and you'll see it's changed.

Hi All: any NYC area people who got further? I can only get as far as the tracking #, which would only get as far as this "...Billing information has been sent to UPS..." but no "expected delivery date", or anything else. Not even where the package originates from!
Hope someone from NYC would pitch in here on this thread.
Thx!

i live in jersey city and a way i found out that my shipping date is the 20th is by creating a ups account and under my page the expected delivery date was there.
I am not from nyc I am from chicago I also have the samething billing info recved what I am guessing is that these phones are already at the cities local ups center and they will be delivered between mon, tues, wed and they most likely are being real careful and make sure they deliver as promise
Mine has said "Recieved billing info" since Oct 14th..... and Ive been checkin it everyday and it still says the same thing
if u guys register to myups it should tell u the arrival date for me its the 20th and i live in the bronx
i think i got my "billing info received..." thing very very late last night, around 4am, so that's literally today technically, i.e. 10/16th, Thursday.
my gut tells me that they did the label late yesterday, Wednesday, and then hopefully, today, they would hand it over to UPS, who then will eventually "scan it into their system" by midnight or so tonight.
why UPS takes the entire day today, Thursday, to scan it in, rather than "scanning as the packages come in" is beyond me.
what do you guys think?
oh, btw, besides all this getting the phone thing...all these "1st generation problems" is beginning to bum me out. i use outlook for my "main" thing and trying to do this "csv" file thing to export to gmail and trying to get it "just right" is really not the easiest thing. first plus last names get combined into one field, so if i were to want to look for John Smith, i cannot look for Smith, because it is ONE FIELD and i'd have to search under John!
ugh.
as excited and as thrilled about the whole android/new open source...blah blah blah...thing as i am, this is getting already to be rather tiresome. it's not that i'm using some obscure "system". I'm using Outlook 2007. i've been using Outlook, various versions, for a number of years. there's nothing "odd" or "unusual" about that. MANY folks use that. Some for home use, some for business use, some for small, home-based business use. Why this is not "solved" out of the box is beyond me.
if i were using some really obscure system, well...ok...it is highly different and unusual...one can excuse that. But...come on...Outlook? When i went from Windows Mobile to my Blackberry, it was as simple as installing whatever BB software that was needed, and in about 5 minutes, i had my entire Outlook on my Blackberry ready to go!! Seamlessly.
sorry to rant...but i thought that this is not an unreasonable expectation.

It's not UPS, T-mobile sent the electronic info. to them, thats all.
The physical package is not in their hands yet. when UPS scans it for
the 1st time, then you will see "In transit and on time with a scheduled
delivery date of XX/XX/XXXX. Something like that.
Unless the driver flips the truck and all those little 1.5lb boxes fly
all over the highway and the on coming traffic runs them all over. Then
you might see a message like " Your delivey has been re-scheduled"![]()

so...the bottom line is that Tmobile has been slow in getting the phones to UPS PHYSICALLY! It is conceivably that Tmobile didn't give the physical package to UPS, right? So unless we see a new scan on UPS late tonight...and it's getting VERY late already, 11:01PM eastern, it seems like Tmobile has been holding the packages, though with the labels printed, in their own possession until tomorrow or even later and NOT release it to UPS? How odd? Print the labels, package them in a box, but NOT give it over to UPS? huh?
