No White G1 at Launch?

According to TmoNews there will be no white G1 at Launch.

If you are waiting in line to get your G1 you will get either a Brown or Black ticket (not a white one), which you can then use to buy your handset in store.

I spoke with t-mobile yesterday and they said that white would be available thru customer care on the 22nd

most people who want white i guess will have to wait, however what im doing is going on launch hopefully getting a black one, will use it and keep it in great condition and when the white is released i will sell my black one on ebay and get a white, by then i will be familiar with the phone and hopefully have apps on my sd card so its almost like having a rental car till your car is fixed lol !!
