Default New to Android new to forum

    Hi there
Ive had my Hero for a couple of days and i'm impressed. I previously had a touch running WM and have dabbled with Symbian before. Not knowing what to expect i was impressed with the systems ease for a notice.

One thing quickly apparent was the non bluethooth app ! It paired with my car fine which was a big tick on the wish list but no file transfer tut tut !!

Looked on the market and search internet and couldnt find an app, internet says cyrket app is a good one to use but its not on the app store and the link in browser isnt working!

Also im struggling with basic file manager tasks such as create director and move files around on SD card any help most appreciated.

Sync works great for contacts and diary but doesnt touch my email account like mobile office did (shame)
I can read MS office documents but cant edit, again there doesnt seem to be an openoffice app for this either yet on the store.

Very impressive first experience and I appreciate that the platform is new and will only improve apps wise !!
I would love it to push txts to my car and have the Fiat Blue&Me system read them aloud.

    try this free:
    http://www.androlib.com/android.appl...vity-jBFm.aspx
you can send files but you cannot receive..

another one here, you need to pay for this.. also, your phone must be rooted so that you can receive a file (which is not yet possible to HERO, wait a little more):

For blutooth transfer you what BlueX, it's a paid app so if you can't get paid apps you wont see it in the market.
To manager your files you can use Astro or Linda file Manager, both free apps.
