new G1 and extra battery on the way

So I have been having problems with my SD card unmounting while still in the phone and the battery. I have been complaining to TMo and having it documented so today they are shipping out a new phone to me and a second battery and letting me keep the original battery.

We all know about the battery but as for the SD card thing I think it is a poor design with that little door. It seems like that little door being flush really is the reason behind it, if I pushed it back so it was flush the card would be found again. This is frustrating to no end as I would loose pictures and what not. Even if it was just the little door I say thats flaw enough and my other friends with the phone have never had this problem

I did that before, But two separate times.
First i got the battery,
then the g1 in a couple different calls.

I Carry around the battery, like i leave it in my pocket or car. have it fully charged so like whenever my phone dies I can just swap it out and have full battery, Comes in handyy.

I rodered up one of the cradles from ebay that has the battery charger slot on it. Looking forward to being able to swap on the go!

Hopefully this battery last longer then the first one though. I do have a buddy who seems to get noticeably better battery life then me so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully they re-issue upgraded batteries and these updates eventually show an improvement in battery life. My buddy rode around on his bike for 2 hours streaming stereo bluetooth and GPS enabled on his BB Bold and it only lost 25% of the battery. That would certainly be the death kill for the G1 assuming it had A2DP and having those features on that long. And the GPS was actually logging his route not just "on"
