Yep, drag-n-drop freedom rules. That's how I always load my MP3 player. Incidentally, WinMo Pocket PC's have been doing this from the get-go. Being tied to iTunes has been my number one turn-off for that OTHER phone. I've never been a fan of iTunes and the $.99 / DRM'd song paradigm. I'm not sure how many $.89 / non DRM'd songs I will be downloading from the Amazon store, but just knowing that I will own the song makes me a lot more likely to do so. It's about principalities!
why does mine says it could not be copied because of an I/O error
copy and paste. (or click and drag)
But i wouldnt expect an iphone user to know how to do that anyways. Lol im sorry i couldnt help it.

Or just use your pc card reader like most people....
It will also read music from your music folder.... Just to keep things nice and clean....
I was all ready to do that, copy+paste my music to my G1...but it won't work. It keeps on saying that it "cannot perform this action due to an I/O device error" or something along those lines.
Help! How do I fix this? It won't let me change the files from "read only" (my g1 music files I mean) and it won't let me even create a new folder, much less put anything in it.
I know I have a san disc. What do I do?
