move shortcuts from one workspace to another

I created a shortcut on my center "virtual desktop" and want to move it to the one on the right (or left). Is there any way to move objects around the workspace easily?

Just grab it, drag to the edge of the screen, and after a small delay it will move to the next part of the home screen.

You can either hold down and move it over or go to the left or right of the screen ( your choice) and long press on the screen and make a shortcut from there

Dragging it is kind of a... drag. It takes me like 3-5 attempts to get it over. Same for widgets. Hope they make it a bit easier.
