MoDaCo 1.5.1

Just watched a couple of YouTube videos praising this version of the HERO ROM on the MyTouch and I was wondering 2 things:

1. Can it be used on a G1?
2. If so, anyone tried it and have any reviews/comments?

It seems pretty damn fast with no lag. Would like to hear from the more experienced users on this one.

2. I have not, don't have a high class sd card.

Yea you answered your own questions a few times already.
It can be ran on the g1 I haven't ever done it.
But the Sense UI swaps out its UI or something to the sd card, that's why stock hero devices were slow and laggy.

If you want to port the Rom to your g1 its a lot of work and my first advice is to buy a high class sd card, class 6.

Otherwise it's not worth doing.
And I would have done it by now but I definitely don't have a class 6 sd card.

I have class 4 8GB card already. My sig has what am running. Just want to know if I can just flash the rom or do I have to repartition the card and change the current set up?

Oh buddy if those are you're questions you should not flash at all.
They're are Radio images to change
and hard SPL's to change
and between those two, if done wrong, BRICKED! PHONE!

Then you have to have a linux swap partition and some other junk I'm not that knowledgeable about.

I already have the latest radio and custom spl. I have a 96mb swap and I am using a custom user.conf file that overclocks the phone.

Just want to know how big a difference between the MoDaCo 1.5.1 and JACxHERO v1.7r2?

Yea dude chill the eff out.

From what little I know, I think the ACo rom is just a lot more smaller so it doesn't kill whatever that affects it such as cpu or internal memory so it will run faster on lower end devices such as anything less then a Hero device.

Where as jacXhero's rom isn't as compressed and small so it requires more power/usgae/cpu/junk of that nature.

So the small file should mean a preformance boost on any rom.

And if you're already on a hero build why not try a nandroid, then flash to that and if it fails nandroid restore?
