Am i do something wrong? Currently I only have 20 MB left on my G1. I uninstalled/deleted about 8 megs worth of games and apps, and it still say 20 MB even after deleting those 8 megs. What gives?

Under Settings...Applications...Manage Applications look at all of your apps. Those with bifg numbers (especially browser and street view) press and then hit the button to clear out the data for that app.

Like clearing the cache.

I suggest you go into the browser and and clear the cache via settings and not clear the data in manage apps...you clear the data in manage apps and you lose saved passes and bookmarks...I learned the hard way.

hmm.. no luck.. i deleted about another 2 megs of apps (now total of about 10 megs).. and cleared my cache in browser and streetview.. and my available memory went from 20 to 22...

i wish there was a way to do this without losing favorites, etc...
