    Default 'Jumpy' .mp3 files

    Hello,

When i listen to songs on the Hero, occasionally its quite jumpy, usually at the start of the song...

I have updated the software and have a decent memory card, wondered if theres anything i can do to fix this?

    Cheers

I am getting the exact same issue:

    Jumpy when screen blanks
    Jumpy at start of tracks
    Intermittent jumpy any time!

HTC told me to update ROM - I had already done this (orange)

Good in a way to know that someone else has this problem and it's not just my phone......anyone HELP please!

    Guys,

Either of you using the original memory, I am using a 16GB class 2, wondered if that was causing the issue?

I am using a 16Gb Class 6 card, and I also have the problem. I have it with both MP3 and WMA files.

    Kingkeld,

Thanks for the response, looks like this is a phone issue but no one seems to have any ideas yet. Will wait for my response from HTC if nothing appears here.

I'm having this issue as well. It's only happened since I updated (using the modaca rom). Jumpy for the first few seconds of every track and then fine for the rest of it on mine. 16gb class 2.

    Hi guys,

Have heard nothing yet from HTC, they have answered other issues pretty quick, so they are either baffled or have lost my query. I will get in touch with them again tomorrow and pass on any info.

    Sounds great, Jaydot.

It would be great to get this fixed. I use my music player constantly...
