This phone is great! Got it yesterday, it was suppose to be here on Nov 10th!

Anyways, can someone tell me where compass mode is on google maps? I saw someone demo it on youtube but i cannot find it. thanks in advance and happy friday!

Go into Street View mode and press the Menu button to select Compass Mode.

When in maps, hit menu then choose mode, then street view. Select a street to view on the map, hit menu once your in street view and there will be choice for compass.

hey wicked or anybody, i tryed putting an address in, hit street view, but i still see no compass? help please!

ok....heres what i get when i go into street view after i hit menu:

search; directions; clear map; my location; map mode; more

no compass??

I think you need to be in a Street View location (where the service is avaliable) for the compass mode.

can someone give me an address that works? just to give me peace of mind that my phone does have it.. haha!
