That Sucks And Maybe He Did Something To It Before He Sold To You. I'd Ask A T-Mobile Rep.
I have a g1 and had it for 3 days now...
I like the phone alot but one thing that I have noticed is for about 30% of my outgoing calls, I would press send and the phone would show dialing. Instead of hearing the rings, it just hangs there and the microphone picks up all the ambiant noise such as my voice and breating and taps on the phone... and I can hear that pick up through the ear peice.
And once in a while it happens for incoming calls, If i hit send for answering a call, the same symptoms would appear...
now I am not sure if this is a handset problem or network issue... I had this happen on very rare occasions with my HTC tilt phone... but as much as the G1
any suggestions?
This phone is bought from a private seller, in box for 2 months (he never used it) Can I still take it to Tmobile for warranty inquires/replacement/etc
or do I contact HTC?
the phone isnt debranded or unlocked and Im using Tmobile.
and what are my options as far as adding insurance for this phone?

I doubt he did anything to the phone, he seemed like a very straight up guy... and the phone looked brand new but unsealed.
someone on another forum mentioned that it could be due to 3g useage... is this true?...
because when these dropped called or un dialing calls happened, I am pretty sure I had music streaming or I was in a cupcake lite chat room.
any Tmobile reps wanna chime in?... im pretty sure that the phone was activated by the original guy first, hard reset and then re activated by me.
