Thread: Is it true the G1 doesn't support vibration mode?

Default Is it true the G1 doesn't support vibration mode?

I was watching a hands on video on YouTube and the guy said it doesn't. Is this really true? Pretty odd it doesn't if it's true.

I don't believe this to be true since during a demo in London they showed a demo of Pacman running on Android and he said, "It also vibrates to let you know when you die"

Unless I'm mistaken this should be included on the U.S. Market G1 Android as well.

Look at this video. I think I misunderstood what he said.

Ah, never mind. There were so many talking in the back I couldn't hear too much of what he was talking about. I guess he was talking about vibration feedback using the dial pad on the touch screen. Sorry about that.

    Thanks for the quick response.

I believe he probably meant no vibration feedback as you press the buttons to make sure that it registered the touch, for if you weren't looking while dialing for example.

I believe he is referring to vibrating while you dial maybe

That is a little confusing, but in the video below at 6:45 he says that it vibrates.

Might have to watch it in high quality mode.

It clearly says "Phone Vibrate" and it's checked.

You can even get a sneak peak at other options like "Notification Ringtones"

    Pretty sweet!

The G1 is getting better and better everyday.
