nice nice another iphone cat here
i plan on having them both. but i plan on using it on AT&T once there is an unlock solution.
why u have both AT&T and Tmobile
i can't let something like this come out and i aint in the know. haa
I wasn't sure how it was going to stack up against my iPhone 3G, but l am loving the G1. The OS is very snappy, especially when compared to other mutlitasking OS's (Windows Mobile comes to mind), since iPhone doesn't have background running yet. The screen is beautiful on the G1, it's responsive, can swipe to browse and move around easily (like iPhone). Having a physical keyboard is always a huge plus for me, although I do wish the keys were a little domed instead of being flat.
I got to give T-Mobile props for their 3G network. I live in NNJ and have pretty good coverage with AT&T, Sprint in terms of 3G. I wasn't expecting a GREAT 3G experience since T-Mobile's 3G is still very early, but so far it is easliy beating my iPhone 3G in terms of 3G speed.
I took some comparison pics and posted them to my site. I've had the G1 for a little over 24 hours now and I can honestly say I am VERY impressed with the device.

It gets worse...
I also have Sprint. I get pretty good discounts with having my site. I have a Treo 755p (longest smartphone I've ever owned), still really like it and use it a lot because I kinda grew up with the Palm OS and really like the OS as ancient as it is, and the keyboard of the Treo still is the best keyboarded smartphone in my opinion.
AT&T because of the iPhone, and now iPhone 3G.
T-mobile, started with a SideKick3, moved to a Dash, now a G1.
It's a crazy thing, I know, but I guess I could be spending $$$ on worse things, lol. I'm just into mobile devices.
That said, the G1 is surpassing my expectations. I heard about memory leaks, apps running slow, etc. I figured it's kind of expected with the G1 being the 1st Android device, but I have not experienced those issues.
