Internal memory is gettinf low... :(

Hi pplz

Do anybody know, when they re going to do something about it with the shortage memory on g1?
Are they gonna do something about it soon? I love my phone, but.I can't stand it...my memory isrunning out......someone please make a program for it?

are you asking somebody to make a program to increase memory?

because that would probably cost money, a lot of money.

you could however delete some programs until somebody makes something that perhaps allows us to save to the memory card.

if i remember correctly, google halfway answered this question and said that part of the reason is that everytime you visit the market place and view things, it gets cached in the phone, and theres no way to delete that cache, and there supposed to be working on that...but even so, the memory that given to put apps on isnt very much, and when the market place and android starts growing, and they start adding paid apps... the phone is gonna basically become a brick, or you'll hafta choose which apps you wanna keep on it... there gonna hafta come up with some way to let you store it to a memory card..but currently no one has commented on that... so sadly only option you have is to delete stuff...

If u have rc30 do a hard reset and choose what apps you really use and intsall those... when u go to market after the hard reset accept the agreement and wait about a minute and then chose my downloads... the memory is working a little bit better after the hard reset for me.. I'm at about 48mb free with about 20 apps loaded.
