IM issues?

Hey guys, I wanted to know if I'm the only one expiriencing issues with the pre-loaded IM application. The only service that always stays connected constantly is GTalk. Aim,Yahoo, and Msn always seem to be offline when I go to check who's online. I made sure that I have my password saved and auto sign-in checked.
Anyone else expiriencing this?

Yeah i'm having the same issue, and even when some one sends me a instant message, it comes back to me under my screen name so i have no clue who im chatting with, weird only if the aim,msn, yahoo messenger were the same versions that the sidekicks use

About this IM client, I'm really not sure if it's a widespread issue or just mine. That's why I'm trying to get feedback.

Yes, me too. I'm coming from a sidekick and this AIM client blows compared to the SK. I'm anxiously looking for a substitute.

Yeah I am having the same issue..I also made sure my login info was saved and that I automatically get logged in..but when I go check it, only google is online and I have to manually log in.

this sucks bcuz I love the AIM client on my sk-lx, hmmm still have money in my pocket not scheduled to pick up phone til tomorrow. will this be the deal breaker...been with the sk's for 5 yrs....

The e-mail client is not as strong as the SK's. For some reason the e-mails getting sent to everything besides my GMail are not giving me a notification. I believe this is a bug though.

Same thing here. It seems that the only thing working on my phone is GOOGLE related. lol! I'm sure it'll get fixed by the end of the week.

I thought that G1 only supported push for G-Mail. Oh wait, do you mean, you have it set to periodically check those accounts and it simply doesn't do it's thing and notify you when something comes in?
