If your phone is stolen...

seems like the there would be an easy way to track down the phone since it is connected to the internet and perhaps a serial number could be tracked to a lat/lon position.... almost like a homing device ---- (think batman the 60's tv show assuming you are old enough to have seen it)

LOl. See now that's what I thought too. Apparently not though. I have tried to suggest all of that.

On my windows mobile phone I had an app that would sit in the background. If my phone was stolen I could send it an SMS which could do a couple of things. First send me all calls made recently. Second turn on the GPS and send me the location. Third Wipe the phone. Would people be interested in something like this?
