I returned my G1

There was nothing wrong with the phone or nothing it just bugged me the fact that it was loose on the screen. I am ordering a phone asap from customer service but I talked to them and they told me they are in back order till the 24th of this month, that for me is a long time since its 3 weeks away.

Now I do not know what to do, I got $400 in my hand and Im even thinking of cancelling my contract and going to ATT and get the iPhone but at the same time I don't want to.

what should I do?

BTW I want the bronze one now if i get it, is there any upclose pics of it?

whatcha mean loose on the screen ?? I like the iPhone, but at the same time I like my G1 ... so whatever you feel like doing is up to you ...

I think the next phone you get will have the same issue. It's because they are slide outs.

I ordered mine on the 3rd of November, and at the time they said they were back ordered. I called to check up on the status yesterday and the lady told me they had received the G1's and had started shipping. Mine is supposed to arrive on the 10th.

But I talked today and was told the G1's were shipping, so I'm not sure why they would be back ordered till the 24th, but if it was me, I'd wait.

my friend bought the g1 and his felt so much better and the screen was not loose at all.
