I preordered my G1, haven't received it yet.... but

Just saw a post on Craigslist for a mint condition Iphone 1st gen for 200 bucks. I could unlock and use on T-Mobile.
Never owned an iphone. Was stoked for the G1 for touchscreen, but this whole Pre order fiasco on Nov 10th is really irking me.
Opinions?

friend had an unlocked iphone for tmobile, said it would always freeze up and was bad. so he sold it. Id stay away

gl if you need tech support on iphone, as well as no mms, no removable storage. battery that cant be replaced other than sending in the phone, which you would have to do directly to apple assuming you have a warranty on it.

i wouldn't touch it.
