Does it give you an error message?
I don't know what happened. Everything was fine an hour ago and I have not done anything to the phone. But all of the sudden I can't send SMS. I have tried 3 hard resets and even took the sim out and put it back. Can ANYONE help?
I'm going to call CS right now but I am not holding out much hope....![]()

When I try to send a message, I immediately get the little warning triangle that says message not sent. I talked to Tmobile. She was very nice. She thinks its a sim card error. I tried my card on an old phone that was just sitting around and got the same error. Going to try my card on my wife's dash when she gets home. If it works in there, I'm going to do a master reset.
On a side note, I can still receive text messages. Just cant send
I just did a factory reset and I still cant send messages. Calling Tmo back. I'm getting angry
Doesn't sound like a problem with the phone, and is more likely a provisioning issue with your SIM (at the account/provisioning level), or network congestion.
i had that issue this morning all i did was turn my phone off once and turn back on and its been fine
I have been having that problem since I got the phone. Just wait an hour or so and it will start working again.
Well after MANY hard boots and a factory reset. I went to Tmo store and got a new sim card. Put it in, signed into my account and SMS worked!
I have had that same card for 6 years, so I guess it was time for a new one.
I just re-down loaded my apps and set the phone back the way I had it.
At least I did not have to re-do all the contacts!
im having same problem- ive found if i go and start a new thread to that contact it will send the msg and i wont get the little triangle. only work around ive found so far. after it sends it goes to same defective thread and when they reply it does as well. but at least i can read there. and then reply in new thread. works till its fixed i guess.![]()
