HTC Magic same freq as T-mobiles mytouch?

I am in Italy now and Vodaphone has the HTC Magic for sale but i cannot find the 1700mhz on the box anywhere.

Does the Magic have the same frequency bands as the T-mobile My Touch for 3g?

The vodafone's HTC magic uses 2100/900 3G bands which will not work with T-Mobile USA. Because it doesnt contain the 1700 band.


Only the google ions/t-mobile mytouch will work with the t-mobile 3G band.
