Swype does work on the hero. I am using it, and debating whether to go with better keyboard.

MY phone is stuck on the HTC boot screen, I tried updating the firmware through the computer followed the instructions STRICTLY. Now it's stuck there, what should I do, im a Sprint user

Tethering with my HTC Hero on O2 network in the UK does not work anymore after upgrading to android 2.1. (It was a unlocked Orange phone, and update to android came from Orange)
It used to tether with no problems, just enabling the share mobile network tab. Windows Vista used to find the connection and set it up straight away.
I dont know why it wont work now. I've tried on my desktop running Vista ultimate and on my laptop running Windows 7 ultimate.
Any suggestions welcome as I'm stuck.

Hi !

If Orange provided your update it's probably hijacked your data settings. YOu might have to go into set up and manually change them back or O2 might be able to text the settings to you.
