How does hero rom run on the G1? Doesnt it need more power to run the rosie ui then the g1 has to run correctly?

I just put JACxHero 1.1 on my phone last night. Gotta say im impressed so much that im gonna use it for everyday use now. Very fast and responsive. Occasional load times noticed only when coming out of the weather app and back to home screen. Having phone overclocked helps a lot.
