This all depends on what you're doing. If you're just listening to some music, no phone calls - you can get like 7-8 hours out of it. If you're talking on the phone an awful lot, it'll be a lot less. It also depends on the build/radio. Since you're gonna have to use this new one for HERO, I'm really not all that sure how the HERO rom has affected it. I would *assume* (which is never good) that it would be less on HERO due to the graphical nature of SenseUI.

Cupcake update did make battery life a bit better in my opinion, but I have two batteries so.. lol I keep one in that little pocket in the jeans

Thats what i been thinking xD having an extra battery if i need it for an emergency or something, i dont listen to much to music or use camera, 1hour a day of phone call, but not all days les say 3 days of the week maybe .

If i dont use this new Hero ROM, and use the other "old" ones its gonna last me all day long ? i only sends SMS's and browse a little, not much more .

Hmmm... on 2.1b I can't install apps from the market. Wasn't there some chmod cmd to change the permissions on a folder for this?

Well I fixed it, I symlinked /data/dalvik-cache to /system/sd/dalvik-cache

Not quite sure why it wasn't to begin with...

-Added APN's for T-mobile users
-Trout keymappings
-Camera replaced with working Hero camera
-Updated trout gps
-Multi-Touch
-Working WiFi
-Flash 9 (same as fatality because some think there IS a difference)
-Audio libs updated (working audio and HTCMusic.apk)
-build.prop modifications to reflect proper device
-Sensor updates for Auto-Rotate (TouchFlo still won't rotate of course)
-sysctl.conf added to /system/etc
-auto backlight turned off by default
-Wifi tether
-Swapper included
-changes to /data/app removed any .odex'd apps due to upgrade issues

-I went ahead and fixed updated the fatality build as a request...Wifi now works in it and it includes most of the updates listed above. Folks might want to wait untill the devs clean it up some more as there is some unued stuff taking up space.

Feel free to check it out and hope its useful for anyone out there still having issues installing it or having thoughts about it
