HTC Hero /Sense UI official release dump for G1

The Lag happens when it goes back to "Home" screen, it hangs at HTC before it pops back home..

yeah you need to overclock and use swap will make it run faster and smoother. trust me

from my experience yes and no

yes if you want to have more space on ur G1 and if you want your hero to run smoothly youll just move the delivk-cache to sd and keep apps on internal

and no by just using it as a regular g1 rom having it all on internal and deleting useless widgets / apps to free up more space.

so its up to you basically. its not really a necessity in my opinion.

OK thanks for the quick response Johnny. I never really download apps with the ROMs I flash now since its summer vacation for me. All I use my G1 for now is calling and texting since I have my handy-dandy laptop with me at all times.

Downloading as well new ROM as well. By the way no noticable speed differences between 2.0r3 and the Rogers ROM without A2SD or overclocking. Just various bugs that are to be expected with new builds. Also you are left with 17MB of memory left. So if you don't use A2SD and dont use a lot of apps this works especially well.
