Shift + ALT + DEL Reboots the Motorola Droid. I have continually had a problem when I charge using the DeskTop Dock. It puts the phone in silent mode whether the settings say its in silent mode or not. If I change the settings nothing changes. I had to reboot to get the sound back. You will need this if you have the desk charger accessory.

It worked for me- although I was skeptical, I must say.

Or you could root your phone with Cyan and reboot is one of the options.

Hi All,

I'm very new to the forum. when i try to reboot my phone ( HTC Desire ) it always go into a hang state i.e. it keep on showing shutting done and then i have to remove the battery to switch it off. any suggestions ?

I've seen widgets that do just that, but your phone has to be rooted.
Check "Extended Controls" in the marketplace.

Press (volume up + Power) at the same time. It will reboot the phone. Tested on Galaxy S Captivate
