How to find Unlock Code

Hey so heres my problem, i unlocked my G1 awhile back and didnt write down my unlock code anywhere. i also cant remember my password for unlock-tmobileg1.com. so what i need to know is if there is a way to find the unlock code by using the device, because i wish to sell it. please help if you can thanks!

Have you tried contacting the site and telling them you misplaced your unlock code? They should have a record of your "purchase".

If the unlock code could be located using the device, then there wouldn't be a need for these unlock services. So AFAIK, no, nowhere on the device.

If you already unlocked it, you never need to enter the code again.

exactly what I was thinking. Once the phone is unlocked, it's unlocked forever and for any SIM. So what's the point to needing the unlock code again?

so what yall are saying is that even if the dude i sell it to uses a different sim card it will still be unlocked for him?

Once you unlock any phone it remains unlocked for the life of the phone. However in the US it can only be used on Tmobile and AT&T.
