How many times has your browser crashed???

Mine?

NEVER. I've had the G1 for about 10 days now (since the launch), and my browser has NEVER, not ONCE crashed!

Why is this interesting?

Hop on over to HowardForums, and check out the iPhone threads. You'll find a thread called "Why can't Apple fix our browser", and 3 pages of people moaning about how their browser crashes 1, 2 x a day, 5, 6 times a day, whenever they go to a page with flash...

They also mention how Apple has released numerous upgrades to Safari, but that it STILL crashes all of the time, sometimes requiring that you reboot your iPhone!

Oh, and Apple (so far) won't allow them to download or use other mobile browsers!

I'm pretty impressed with how stable the browser and the entire internet experience is on my G1.

Has anyone had their G1 browser crash?

With all of the bashing, I thought I'd point out one major thing Google really got right!

My browser has yet to crash, even on sites that reliably crashed my iPhone. I am thoroughly impressed, Google.

On the other hand, the server overload/browser/market connectivity issues are another thing entirely...

Mine has crashed a couple of times, to the point where it comes up and asks if I want to "Force Quit" or just wait.

But it always seemed to recover without having to reboot the phone.

Having never used another mobile browser, I have no basis for comparison.

Mine has never crash, I had the sidekick and it would crash all the time from the webs sites I go to. I have a Ipod touch and the web browser crashes on that all the time.
