How can I create Picture Albums?

Ok... I've read that if you make different folders on the SD card where all of your picture files are saved, each folder will become an album.

I've tried this in every way possible, and nothing seems to work.

Here's a shot of what my SD card's picture folder looks like.



Next up, is a (bad) shot of what my phone's default "Albums" app shows.


How can I make different albums appear, so that I can organize my MANY pictures a lot easier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not sure if it'll work but have you put those folders in the picture folder or camera folder?

I have the same problem. I looked for apps in the market but nothing stood out...

I had that same problem when I had Hero on my rooted G1.

Ok, I figured out how to make it work. It's actually pretty easy.

The folders you make shouldn't be in your DCIM folder.

They should be in the main directory of that flash drive.

IE: If your flash card (in the phone) is G:\ when you connect it to your computer, put the folders there.

IE: G:\Japan
G:\Skiing
G:\Friends

Then when you open up your Albums program, it will show Japan, Skiing & Friends as separate albums with the photos contained within each.

App founded!! You don't need anymore to make changes on your PC to make new albums or just moves photos!!

I've donwnloaded from market an app called Foozer Free, I think is still in beta but it works as promised.. I do all albums stuffs from my phone , I don't need anymore to scroll and scroll to show my friend photos from my last trip!!

As extra (I tried at home) it possible to create albums and use the name of your current city. Idea when you have no idea wherre your are
