    True like Iceberg said while tethering it gets hott. Real hot as a matter fact. But I've been doing it for so long I can't remember and nothing has happened to the phone. *knock on wood*.

    Don't worry about the heat too much. If it happens again, replace the battery. It could be the battery heating up instead of the phone.

    Alarm when phone reaches a certain temp. Sounds like it would be a great app! For thetherers

    I thought it was battery too but you wouldn't believe how hot the screen was. I didn't think my phone would emerge unscathed, but it seems fine since. I've read on posts elsewhere in AC that this has happened on other android phones and that i-phones are also prone to heating up

    Hey TheJuan! that's a great idea - a phone thermometer app. i'd use it.

    there could also be a timer app for frying perfect over easy eggs on your screen while tethered
