Help! Contacts erase and specific ringtones too!

Okay, so I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem...
I HAVE un-autosynced my contacts, but it still happens.
About once every two weeks, I will notice that if someone I have a special ringtone for (ex: boyfriend, family, etc.) Calls, it will not ring theirs, but the default. Upon checking, I noticed that all my contacts have reverted to "unknown" or "default".
Also, no matter how many times I change them, certain things like postal and e-mail addresses revert from what I have changed them to, to old ones.
It's not a huge deal, but an incredible annoyance.

My contacts haven't unsynced, but every once in a while their custom ringtones won't fire off. They'll call minutes later and they'll work just fine and when editing the contacts, the said custom ringtone is selected. Weird.
