if I get a refurb I'll be pissed.
I order a replacment 2 days ago so I hope I get a new batch.
Are people really asking for a new replacement to have an adapter?
The adapter that costs about $6 dollars?
Oh man. People in here are really something.
I really don't know if I am a lucky person, but my phone has not given me any problems whatsoever (aside for the 3G connection when my free data expired, but there were problems in the city, not my G1)
My phone is perfect. All keys are perfect. Doesn't make any sounds. GPS is working. Market is working. Phone call is working.
Update is working.
Many people here are too picky.
Let me ask a question to the people that have gotten a replacement based on the phone being "squeaky".
Do you have to send your G1 first, T-mobile receives it, and THEN they send you a replacement?
What if the squeaking sound is a hardware problem that will continue?
I remember reading people having a squeaking sound after a few days or weeks they gotten their G1.
What if this is the same?
What if in two, three weeks the sound returns?
What will you do?

Are you serious?!?! Ill just be picky then. not taking a squeaky, poorly made G1 when I paid my money.. If anyone just accepts a bad phone for the sake of not being "picky", then youre insane!
Does anyone know if you have to exchange your phone at the same store it was bought at? or can it be a different one? I'm on the fence as to whether or not I should exchange. On one hand the creaks and squeaks aren't so bad with the fixes and I wonder if I'll just get anoter phone with more problems. On the other hand I want a phone that doesn't make annoying noises.
